Please, summer, don’t be late!

In browsing around this morning, I found a very funny webpage.  I thought it was funny, anyway.  It explains politics and I found it quite amusing.

 

The weather is nice today for a change.  Too bad it won’t stick around for tomorrow.  Tomorrow is my birthday, so of course it’s going to be cold, snowy, and generally miserable.  Makes perfect sense to me.  Meanwhile, today it’s 50° and sunny.

I have had enough of being sick now.  Summer, please come back!  I’m always sickest in the winter.  I just got over a nasty sinus infection, so what do you suppose happened next?  I came down with the stomach flu, of course.  Just my luck.

On to less depressing topics.  I started working on my story again!  It’s only been lying around my apartment for six months begging to be finished.  My problem is that I edit as I’m working on it, so it never seems to get finished.  That goes for all of my writing projects, with the exception of this.  If I had edited this as I went, probably none of the short stories posted would have made it on here.   At any rate, if I actually get this finished, that will be a big step for me.  Then, of course, I’ll have to get back to my other two and get them finished.  The one needs serious help, though; it will take a long time to get into finished form.

And now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go perform sinus removal surgery and have a nice nap.
