The whole thing is surreal; I just can’t get over it.

And the Bugles were indeed yummy, but they didn’t quite settle my tummy the way I had hoped they would, at least not by the time I got to the end of the bag three days later. Stupid upset tummy. I’m okay, I just seem to have a persistent tummy bug. Hope you are well and enjoying the lousy precipitation!

I read this around the time you posted it and as always am just getting around to commenting.

The picture in the paper re: Bryce was just so… surreal. A paper from the Brook reporting (well, via the Times-Repub) on a murder of one of our old friends… so bizarre. I kept the paper, not sure what I’ll do with it.

So glad I could amuse you! Yay LJ indeed!

I swear to God, my dad is bent on stupidity. You can’t tell him anything and it’s so frustrating! I guess at least my sister is picking him up today because I’m on day 2 of a nasty headache and I don’t think I would have been very good company if I’d picked him up.

I remembered how to say, “She was seven,” instead of, “She is seven.” It didn’t really do me any good since I wanted to say, “She will be seven,” but I was proud of myself

It was so much fun! It was a wonderful song and dance thing featuring music from old movies (and a few new ones). They also did that old “Who’s on First” routine, which I had heard of but never seen. It was so funny! It was a total blast, till we decided to go to Perkins for supper afterwards. They were so understaffed that they had the hostess and one of the cooks waiting tables in addition to the two waitresses. Apparently we weren’t the only ones who thought Perkins sounded good at ten o’clock at night…
